An appraisal token shows the real grade. So does a sharp eye.
Bought something that wasn't what they said? Return it. There's a fee.

■ Cheap used vs expensive new
Cheap gear is good value. It also breaks.
If you'll replace it soon, buy used. If it's your last one, buy new.
The maths changes every time.

■ A full storeroom means no shopping
Sell what you don't use at the flea market, pawn it, or throw it out.
Pawned things come back — if you make the deadline.

Open sockets, set gems, engrave your name.
Shop somewhere often enough and they start giving you a discount.
