The Duolingo English Test (DET) mobile app provides a stable, secure test setup experience. It does not replace the desktop app for taking the test itself. Test takers will use the app to:

• Submit their ID information
• Scan their face and ID
• Complete their room scan and ear scan
• Set up their phone to record their computer
